Clearwater, FL, Nov 9, 2018 – EMS World is one of the largest US based EMS trade journals and conventions with over 40,000 subscribers and approximately 6,000 convention attendees. Every year they are on the lookout to uncover the hottest new products in the industry that improve the delivery of EMS care. This year Marketing submitted nominations for 2 of the latest innovations, Flow-Safe II+ and the Small Adult BVM with LiteSaver Manometer. Both Mercury nominations made the top 30 finalists that were listed in the September issue of EMS World. Finalists received a visit from several “Top Innovation Award” judges during the EMS World Expo 2018, Oct. 29–Nov. 2 we attended in Nashville, to learn more about the finalist and choose the winner. The Marketing and Sales team demoed both products to the judges there in our 30’ in-line booth. We received confirmation shortly after the convention that both products were chosen for the 2018 EMS World Innovation Award! From the EMS World announcement, “It’s rare we have 2 products win from the same company, very well deserved!”
The top 20 winners will be profiled in the December print issue of EMS World and online.
Congratulations team! Thanks to the EMS World convention team who met with the judges there in Nashville last week to review these innovations for the award. Special thanks to Engineering, Marketing and the Product Development team for developing and introducing these innovations to the market that provide a higher standard for better patient outcomes. As an additional reward for earning this Top 20 recognition, Mercury Medical will receive an award plaque and both products will be featured in the upcoming December issue of EMS World.
